The plan here is to build a stand-alone unit that interrogates the megajolt ECU and displays the ignition advance setting, in degrees, and the inlet manifold pressure (Vacuum), in KPa.
These parameters may be monitored when using the megajolt-configuration-software but, using a laptop in the car while driving may not be entirely safe or convenient so this dedicated display was developed.
Apart from an interesting display there are some practical aspects to this project.
If you accelerate and the engine knocks (pinks), a glance at the ignition advance display will show the setting that must be adjusted.
Apart from that....I enjoy messing with this kind of stuff.
